Voile de Toilette

This format of fragrance is an IPM (Isopropyl Myristate) based fine mist spray-able oil perfume that is the non-flammable equivalent to our Eau de Toilette. It that has 8-12% oil concentrate in the solution. It has a very high flashpoint and is not considered to be a Dangerous Good for shipping. Therefore, the Voile de Toilette is the same concentration as the Eau de Toilette, and so on. The only difference we have found when comparing ” Eaux ” vs. “Voiles” would be that the alcohol based “Eaux” tend to be brighter, accentuate the top notes, and have greater sillage whereas the “Voiles” seem to hold closer to the skin and accentuate the base notes.

ALSO, we have found that if you have dry skin and / or live in a dry climate, the Eaux de Toilettes will give the best performance (will last longer on the skin and give better sillage) than the Voile formats. The Voile formats were essentially created to allow for shipping products outside of the CONUS.

** FYI: Voile formats can freeze during air travel or cold winter months, and appear solid or semi-solid if package freezes. This is not a problem; it will thaw out and re-liquify. No change in the scent will occur.
