Description
Every King must have a Queen… or so they say. With Pineapple King, I felt that we needed a Queen to speak to the pineapple concept. Interestingly, Lili’uokalani, the last Queen of Hawaii, the only Queen Regnant (she was Queen by her own birthright, not by marrying a King).
I have long admired the beauty and talent of Lili’uokalani, and I feel honored to pay tribute to her legacy through fragrance.
Her perfume takes inspiration from the fragrance styles of her time, so it is an essentially retro-nouveau design with spice undertones, a warm ambery feel in the drydown, but of course, pineapple is the focal note. Hawaiian and tropical flowers dominate the heart along with the sultry qualities of Hawaiian sandalwood.

What a Gawjus scent! I’m enjoying the Vdp concentration as it’s perfect. Not too sweet.
Love all the notes.

Beautiful! Starts with a juicy, slightly “funky” and almost animalic pineapple that is tart and not too sweet. Leads into a lovely floral core with a slight indolic kick and a powdery orris texture. Finishes with a musky/woodsy/mossy skin-like trail.
