Cherry Daydream is the first of a ‘Cherry Duo’ I have been contemplating for awhile. For many years I have had a kind of love / hate relationship with the concept of cherry as a focal note in fragrance. It seems way too easy to create cough syrup perfumes or sickly sweet, fake fruits that feel strange to wear. I found inspiration this Spring around this cherry duo idea which is, somewhat, a reflection of my Oud in Chiaroscuro concept: a vision of interpreting a subject through the lens of light and shadow.
