Oeillets Rouges is among my favorite DSH fragrances, so when I saw that a new carnation scent had been added to the collection, I had to try it. Fleuriste is indeed a cooler, fresher, greener and more reserved version of Oeillets Rouges’ sensual, inviting, spicy warmth. If you love carnation; these scents are the perfect pairing for professional days and celebratory nights. I’ll reach for Fleuriste to make an understated and elegant statement for day. When I shrug off my suit and slip into a little black dress, Oeillets Rouges is the rich, intoxicating evening note I want. I love them both.

A great carnation fragrance, but a moist one. It reminds me of the inside of a florist’s cooler. It’s the closest fragrance to the iconic carnation fragrance Golconda, by JARS (Joel A Rosenthal), of which very few were made and all of it long unavailable.

I love the scent of fresh carnations and Fleuriste captures it beautifully. This is the way florist shops are supposed to smell. While it is definitely a carnation scent, the spice is cooled down by strong green notes. It’s basically the cool and sophisticated sister of the more fiery Oelliet Rouge.

Fleuriste on my skin when I first put it on is carnation jousting with another scent that I can’t figure out what is. But 25 minutes later I think it is beautiful and fun and it makes me want to dance and twirl around like a kid. Thanks Dawn. I think this is a lovely perfume. 68Ter

Very nice complex carnation based perfume. I have Fiori di Capri and Bellodogia. Fleuriste is a great fragrance for 24/7 wear, not at all overpowering and quite feminine.

This is by far the most beautiful carnation scent I’ve had the pleasure of sniffing. It’s like sticking your nose into a bouquet of carnation that’s just come out of a florists fridge. Dawn does cool fresh notes the best of any perfume house Ive tried and Fleuriste remains fresh and cold without coming off as overly green/grassy. It’s also quite subtle.
