Opening the beautifully packaged Collection Box created such joy. However, not half as much joy as the contents of this treasure trove of incredible perfumes. Each and every one is a masterpiece. I honestly love each one equally for different reasons as different as their individual characters. Piment et Chocolat is AMAZING! Completely original, masterfully blended, and is so very, very gorgeous. A sexy, hot, grown-up Gourmand to be sure. Oeillets Rouges oozes sensuality in all its glory. Red Carnations bathed in spice with incense and heat daring them to reveal their secrets. Poivre is just that…HOT! Oh yes, does it ever sizzle. Fleur d’Oranger is indeed the *softer side of red*… a bold orange-floral with many surprises in store. I highly recommend this collection box. Not only is the value superb, the scents are unforgettable.

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this gorgeous collection. Depending on my mood, I limit myself to wearing only one at a time. My favourite to wear alone is Pimet et Chocolat; it’s intoxicating! The others are equally wonderful as well. I love to layer them,mostly because I adore them all. People often stop me to ask what I’m wearing, once they near enough. I don’t care for too much sillage, ever, so these, like virtually all of the DSH fragrances, are perfect!

The box? Gorgeous. The perfumes tucked inside? Even better. I most recently bought this collection as a gift—that I couldn’t bring myself to give away. The Piment et Chocolat never lasts through the holiday season; it is the perfect party fragrance. Oeillets Rouges is tucked in my purse as a back up for the bottle on my vanity, and Poivre suits my mood for evenings involving soft lights, craft cocktails, and expansive urban skylines. Fleur d’Oranger is the soft voice in this grouping, despite the fact that it goes on a bit spiky and startling. But the bite softens quickly to a waxy soothing orange that is lovely to curl up with when I’m in a quiet mood.

The presentation is top notch these are adorable and it’s like a little treasure chest. One downside is that the bottles have tiny openings and I enjoy a spray so I will typically decent a dabber. Very hard to do with these. That said, the perfume itself is a glorious collection. All are exceptional with the standout being piment et chocolat- spicy and rich and absolutely addictive. A few dabs goes a long way and will have you smelling yourself all day .
