I bet that you never thought of this “good for you / trendy” vegetable as a perfume… but it’s surprisingly delightful. We have a true love around here for fun & unusual vegetal fragrances and with KALE you get the just ripped, deep green, slightly mineral, vaguely floral, bracing crunchiness you need to keep cool this summer.

The product description uses the word bracing and that is the appropriate word. I’ve never smelled anything so crisp and crunchy. Extremely vegetal but still bright. This kale was stored in a fancy fridge that kept it in the best possible condition, stored next to cut apples, rinsed with crystal clear water, finished with a touch of lemon.

This fragrance doesn’t read as vegetal to me it reads as a dry, soft sandalwood that is very unisex but singularly just sandalwood. Perhaps my skin is destroying some of the other notes because sadly all I get is sandalwood. It is clean, it is fresh, but not complex. The staying power is great though so if this sounds like your jam it certainly has the longevity you would want.
