Description
This year’s Holiday scent was inspired by a favorite dish: one made of apples, cinnamon, nuts and honey. Of course, I’ve taken some artistic liberties to create a Holiday perfume that’s sexy, luscious, and a delight to wear.

Hanukah Cannelle (Holiday no 9) beautifully reproduces the scent of apples — not the fresh, crisp version, but tender, warm, cinnamon-spiced apples spilling from the sides of a slice of apple pie. Over time, the scent evolves into a more generalized sweetness, with a slight and pleasant waxy quality, like an apple-scented candle that’s been recently blown out. The sillage is moderate (hence, only 4 stars) and the longevity is medium (4 stars again).

I was fortunate to receive this in a random drawing, and I am very happy with it! It’s a soft, warm fragrance with a lovely drydown. I like that it wears close to the skin. I get more honey than apple, as well as a powdery floral feel. It’s very soothing and pretty. I can see wearing it in many different settings. Thank you DSH for the wonderful gift!
