This is a lovely, simple soliflore gardenia. It’s my favourite soliflore gardenia of all the various brands I’ve tried. It smells true to the gardenias growing in my garden (how I love that smell!) and it’ll definitely be going on my wish list. Ever so pretty.

Genius composition. This smells exactly like the gardenias that grow in the PNW. It’s uncanny how realistic this gardenia is.

Wow! A true to life, straightforward gardenia can be so difficult to find; Dawn has done such a fantastic job here! I have tried so many gardenia themed fragrances only to be disappointed when they head into jasmine or tuberose territory. Gardenia Essence manages to capture both the fruitiness and butteriness of the elusive white blossom while staying true to the overall floral tone. My only nitpick is that nearly an entire sample vial was gone from my skin within two hours. Let me make a plea for a Gardenia Essence Intense fragrance. 😉 Still, I bought a full bottle! I just can’t find anything else that comes close to what Dawn has been able to accomplish here.
