Description
One of our “Retrograde Files” revisions from the DSH Perfumes archives… in August, looking to “Flowers of the Sun” seemed to be the perfect reflection of the time, and the feeling of late Summer.
Fleurs du Soleil is a lush and seductive bouquet of tropical flowers gathered together just for you. Hawaiian white ginger, plumeria, gardenia, tuberose, and honeysuckle intertwine around a heart of lilies to bring the romance and brilliance of the islands to you anywhere, anytime.

This is a totally lush floral. Although I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to perfume and I have no “nose” , even I can pick out some of the notes. This begins as primarily tuberose ( it smells like a lighter version of Fracas). Within a half hour, the honeysuckle starts appearing and there was a short time that my wrist smelled like the countryside in June. Then it’s back to the tropics with a very lush blend of flowers. In addition to the tuberose and honeysuckle other notes appear. I’m not certain but I think that Jasmine has joined in with a touch of something sharper. , perhaps ginger. Fleur de Soleil is a very sexy floral that smells like I imagine tropical nights should. It’s definitely not a perfume for the faint of heart.

Fleurs du Soleil is a moment of bliss, in a garden in paradise…the fragrance of tropical blossoms drifting over a deep pool, sun on your skin, and everything peaceful. This scent is calming and uplifting – instant happiness.

Ooh, this is gorgeous! The first thing I notice is the warm, island vibe, it’s so sunny and relaxing. Creamy, golden beeswax glows with soft ginger and a hint of sweet orange, blending with salty skin musk and rich tuberose. A cascade of tropical florals follow — lush jasmine twines with airy honeysuckle and soft plumeria, as sweet, golden lilies and fresh gardenia slowly emerge, bringing a sense of complexity to the creamy, island blend.
I’ve never been to Hawaii, but this is very evocative of islands that are closer to home. The intoxicating aroma of sun-warrmed florals and the alluring scent of salty skin are captured perfectly here — this really is a vacation in a bottle.

Ah, this is lovely. I first tested this fragrance on a long drive in a heat wave, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! The air conditioning in the car was giving me gentle breezes of gorgeous balmy florals!
What is even better with this, is that it is one of the few fragrances I’ve found with a ylang ylang that is present, but playing nicely with the scent as a whole. The ginger and beeswax are definitely here to support the florals, not to stand out on their own.
This is a lush, tropical breeze, with all of the buttery flowers and more subtle aspects necessary to transport you to paradise!

Gorgeous, lush, creamy, tropical floral scent. The description and other reviews are spot on—there’s little else I can add other than that it’s truly amazing. I already have lovely soliflores of most of the main accords and I’m still tempted to add this well-mixed beauty to my collection.
A stunner!

This is like every best summer memory from my youth captured in a bottle. Whether it was days spent at the river fishing & laying on a warm rock reading a novel or an entire day at the beach when you’ve got too much sun and that night you wear white & spritz this wherever you can see tan, golden skin. That’s all of that in this bottle! I buy it for all my April & May girlfriend’s birthdays. They LOVE it! The whole set w body wash & lotion is perfect to go thru the summer with!
