I got this as a sample and it’s absolutely lovely. I know it is called Chinoise, but this fragrance reminds me of my time in Japan. Old tatami rooms with lacquer accessories and scrolls come to mind when I wear this. I like to wear this after a hot shower. I definitely can see why this is tagged “contemplative.”
