Description
The Tournesol Noir (black sunflower) stands apart from his golden siblings… This impossible bloom, its face a disc of midnight velvet drinking in the very light it refuses to reflect. Where others turn to the sun like faithful worshippers, it holds a dark gaze, elsewhere.
Black petals, deep and burnished-purple are the color of ink spilled across old paper…Of the hour just before the stars appear. Up close, its disc is a galaxy in miniature; seeds arranged in their perfect spiral. Bees circle the Tournesol Noir with reverence tinged by confusion, drawn to what they cannot fully understand.
The Tournesol Noir is the question the garden did not know it was asking: what grows in a soul that has learned to love the dark?

This is a beautiful fragrance. It immediately reminded me of sunflowers my parents grew and Colorado summer nights. It’s the first fragrance that I have that really transported me to a place and time from my youth and am so happy I found it.
