Earl Grey Tea is one of the beautiful ‘perfumes’ of the culinary world, so it’s no wonder so many clients have requested an Earl Grey fragrance over the years. There are many interpretations of this famous tea; some quite bright and others deeper with especially dry undertones.
I am delighted to have come to my own design after exploring many Earl Grey Teas and its myriad facets. Royal Grey Cologne, with its bergamot intensity bears much in common with the traditional ‘cologne’ style but combined with the dense richness and liquor / floraclcy of black tea, it becomes unique, aromatic and luscious.

Love this scent–it goes perfectly with my daily tea. It smells the way the tea tastes which is no small feat. Great staying power. Highly recommend!

For those of us who enjoy a cool summer fragrance –but also really want one with some interest & facets. Royal Grey Cologne has the tart zing of the bergamot, & freshness of black tea which adds a darker depth. I love the way it whiffs during the day – tart, green tea, sweetly floral, black tea. Like a welcome cup of tea – it’s calming & stimulating at the same time.

Middle age male reviewer, always on the lookout for a “freshie” genre fragrance that I can tolerate. The department store counters are massive headaches for me (literal headaches and nausea), with the synthetic citruses and blue/etc mass appeal stuff. Ambroxan and calone bombs, sharp, harsh, metallic, artificial, aquatic and just horrible.
Finding something fresh-ish for someone who normally likes deep, dark, rich and thick is a huge challenge, but this one fits the bill. Interesting and different yet just a very pleasing scent that is likely welcoming to most people, non-offensive and pleasant without being wayward. A great summer pick for me, light but not predictable.

This has a candied, creamy bergamot opening. Between the bergamot and the black tea accord, I get the impression of a softly textured lavender note.

This smells exactly like Earl Grey tea leaves! There is a bright bergamot opening, followed by a lovely mix of green and black teas. A perfect scent for summer.
