I’ve been using the extract ($125 flacon), and I am now on my second one. Absolutely love this fragrance. It is very eloquent and alluring, and yet subtle. It does make a statement, while being soft and enveloping. Also love that it is 100% botanical and authentic, no synthetics added – fragrance just blends in with your natural body scent (the benefit of essential oils and extracts) and it lasts long and “matures” on you as the day progresses.
The only cons – you can’t carry the flacon around (once you open it, it must be kept in the standing position for the cap not to come off) If you absolutely must have it with you in your purse, either get a 5ml bottle or EdP. (Although you get more value for your $ by purchasing the 8ml flacon for $125 as opposed to a 5 ml bottle for 115). I personally keep a flacon at home and carry a small bottle of EdP (which smells great, too) with me for a quick refresh 🙂

I’ve used the sample vials of Rose Vert that came with my order in the past and always toyed with the idea of buying more. I finally gave in & bought the 10ml Eau de Parfum spray and I’m loving it. The scent is subtle and sophisticated but unmistakably rose. Unlike other florals I’ve tried, it lasts well and it’s not to sweet. Now all I need is a dram bottle for my purse.

Rose Verte is aptly named. It smells very much as an old garden rose would smell if it included the flowers & the crisp stems. As odd as that may sound, the result is stunning and unexpected.
I did not fall in love at first sniff (as I did with American Beauty) but I wore Rose Verte primarily for the aromatheraputic effects. Since then, I have fallen head over heels in love with this scent. It’s beautiful, rich, relaxing, comforting, grounding. I reach for it again & again and am never disappointed.

This fragrance made me cry. At first it is very red rose and very green in a modern way..then it goes vintage. My Aunt Mary had a drawer full of pink Camay bar soap, Merle Norman cosmetics and different bottles of perfume that she would let me play with. I have not smelled anything similar since childhood, it made me instantly emotional. Dawn does vintage style fragrances better than anyone.

I absolutely love this. Upon my first smell I caught a hint of lime and the smell of a freshly torn leaf. Incredibly green, with a hint of spiciness that reminds me of the thorns and prickles on rosebushes. Dries down into the deep, velvety texture of the rose flowers. No sweetness or powdery notes that often are part of rose perfumes. Lasted 4-6 hours on both my skin and hair. I keep coming back to smell it throughout my day.

I received a sample of this and think it’s a nice layering scent. It was more “green” and earthy than I was expecting, but quite refreshing. I’d like to pair this with a sweeter rose scent, but it’s also nice on its own. I just prefer something sweeter for my personal fragrance.

Such a wonderful classic. Perfect for summer in Arizona. It’s light and reminds me of roses after a summer rain. I highly recommend if you live in a hot climate.
