Maybe our most eclectic design, as Prince is hard to pin down. Perhaps to say that it is an herbal-fougere-chypre with an absinthe top note, rose in the heart and an earthy mossy-chocolate note in the drydown is as accurate yet concise as one can be. It is truly enigmatic.

I came across an obscure yet prized 17th Century textile color called Prince and was immediately captivated. It was described as an ‘indigo-blue-black shot through with crimson red’. Designed in a 17th Century fragrance style, Prince is the only ‘aroma-color’ to be free of a modern feel.

The well-worn leather jacket of a man who (surprisingly) favors a more dandified fragrance. There’s an interesting tension between the herbal, floral notes in this fragrance and the smoky, chocolate-ly notes. There’s no one aspect of the scent that overpowers another; the overall effect is one of smelling the neck of this man who looked so rough, but smelled so good…and stealing the jacket for yourself. Perfectly unisex.
