Over the many years that I have been working with my clients, helping them find just the right fragrance match, I have also been asked to help their kids. “Please give me some suggestions for my teen that I can live with” has been an ongoing request. During the past couple of months, for whatever reason, these requests have been coming with increasing frequency from both my clients and my friends (who now have teenage children).
There is a special psychology to fragrance for teens that is quite different from college age young adults; they need to smell good but also smell like they belong. I’ve been making variations on these perfumes for years for my friends and bespoke clients’ kids, and now we’re bringing them out of our archives because, well, it seems like the time is right.
