This is a very nice, clean and light fragrance. If you have ever walked under blooming Linden trees, you will find this fragrance very familiar. I am very happy with this purchase

While late spring in Colorado is probably best known for its gorgeous wildflowers, I enjoy its abundant linden trees at least as much. Throughout June and much of July, these sturdy trees are laden with tiny yellow flowers that hang in loose clusters from small stalks. As pretty as they are, it is their fragrance that is utterly intoxicating, and somewhat difficult to describe. To me, it’s both creamy and slightly waxy, with a headiness somewhat akin to honeysuckle or magnolia, but not quite as sweet, as if tempered by the lightest touch of lemon. I happily wore Jo Malone’s French Lime Blossom, which is close to the scent of Colorado’s linden blossoms, but having now tried Dawn’s French Linden Blossom, I can say without reservation that it is the truest linden blossom scent out there. I could just marinate in this fragrance; it is pure sunlight in a bottle. An added bonus is that it lasts way longer than the Jo Malone version. My next purchase, without a doubt, will be this fragrance, along with the fabulous shea body creme in this scent for layering. Divine!

I believe I ordered eleven samples, and I think I can say without hesitation that this scent is my favorite. It is very much a linden blossom – pure and unadulterated, yet softened with sunshine. I wear this perfume, and I return to the Germany I once knew, where Linden trees, violets and sunshine were everywhere. Thank you.

I immediately fell in love with French Linden Blossom after applying the sample I received in today’s mail. It’s a soft scent and very beautiful. As another reviewer suggested, I will also buy the lotion and layer this scent. I’m so happy that I picked this scent to sample.

I am super sensitive to fragrances and before now have only used one perfume for the past several decades. This French Linden Blossom will be the second of the two fragrances I will wear from here on out. It is light, fresh, not overwhelming, and simply gorgeous. I usually shy away from any fragrence with the word “blossom” in it because that usually means it will be too flowerly, whereas I prefer more citrusy scents, but this is an outstandingly beautiful option that I’m delighted to have found! I don’t know much about perfumes and how to describe them other than that I was searching for a Linden that would be like wearing the trees outside my place of work in the summer. This fragrance takes that feeling and blows it out of the water. I am dedicated to this scent from now on, and am thrilled to recommend it.
