Symbolic of Spring, the earth’s renewal, creativity, and peace as well as a creamy carrot and orris fragrance with bright Spring greens in the top, and a sensuously warm white fur accord in the base;  White Rabbits might be cute and cuddly, but it’s also serious perfume.

About This Product

Harbingers of Spring and symbolic of good luck, creativity, love, and peace, White Rabbits are magical, lovable, and just so darn sweet.

Like its namesake, our new White Rabbits Heirloom Elixir is lovable, magical, and so perfect for Spring.  It starts with a fresh pop of greens, early Spring humidity, and a peppery flourish of carrot tops.  Pushing further still into this vernal ‘rabbit’ theme, the heart is a delicious coupling of carrot and orris, under pinned by subtle notes of delicate pink rose otto.  The drydown is an inviting, warm, and enveloping white angora fur accord (continuing the textural / fur exploration of the past few years…) woven together with musk-like angelica and ambrette.

The overall effect is just what I have been craving: a peppery green, carrot-y creamy orris, and white fur fragrance.  “As orris has been a deep fascination for me since the very beginning of my perfumery work, to create, and share this carrot and fur laced orris is an incredible treat.  I hope that you’ll love its inviting nature, and sweet sense of peace.”

My first experience with Dawn’s orris perfume. It is creamy with subtle earthy undertone. I like that it is very smooth, almost buttery. Nice for windy beginning of spring.

White Rabbits opens with the fresh smell of spicy raw carrots.. after the first 15 minutes or so, the Orris enters and the scent goes from slightly green and spicy to warm and buttery with some signs of carrot and pepper mixed in. After the first hour or two, a soft fur and musk appears mixed with a touch of amber. I love this fragrance because it has such a varied and interesting dry down. My only issue is that on me at least, it has no silage or projection whatsoever. It begins and ends as a skin scent. If you are in the mood for a light, lovely and different skin scent, this is definitely one you should try.
