A fresh, sparkling eau fraiche / green chypre adaptation complete with a blast of aldehydes, the depth of oakmoss and a hidden *sugar cube.  (*don’t be put off by the sugar note… it’s very subtle and makes it so delicious.  Plus, you know you WANT it).

About This Product

(In the Realm of the Senses – dance interpretation no.2)

A design to speak to the work and creative vision of choreographer Wade Madsen and the performance of “WANT”; a quirky, gender-bending, mid-century inspired piece.  The WANT  fragrance was created so as to be smelled while audience members viewed the dancers’ live performance on July 27, 2013 which was meant to expand the experience of sight, sound and smell while enjoying the movement.  (It was a multi-sensory happening).

Had Chanel not made Crystal, she would have purchased Want. To me the difference is that the top notes in Want remind me of the little tiny limes that I use when I am cooking. And the first spray is as strong as the “POW!” from a Batman show. It then tames down surprisingly softer side. This is not for the faint of heart. This is definitely for someone that needs a good jolt in the morning to get started. Once the jolt, then the tamed version emerges rather quickly. For some reason, it then fades quickly on me, for this reason I will give it a 4 star. For me the notes theme is a dominant citrus chypre.

oh yes…this is what I have been waiting for. you can almost feel the fizziness of this bright, lovely thing. it is fresh, effervecent and the sugar cube is not so hidden. this is comparable to Hilde Soliani’s Freschiiisiiimo. Her version has a notable brown sugar note that weighs down the limey brightness while Want remains buoyed. I will drench myself in this all summer and it will be glorious. Instant happy!
