the Mystery of Musk project

To celebrate the 4th anniversary of the Natural Perfumers Guild, the Mystery of Musk project was established to showcase the work of 12 natural perfumers and the allure of botanical musk perfumes. In the process of creating my submission to the project, musk eau natural, I went on an odessey of exploration in search of the perfect botanical musk. On my journey, I created version 1 (the accord), version 2 (musk of the mosque), version 3 (*musk eau natural: a soliflore botanical musk) and version 4 (ESME: a chypre-musk perfume). the SECRETS of EGYPT collection

I am thrilled to announce our newest collaboration with Denver Art Museum and their KIG TUT exhibit: SECRETS of EGYPT. It has given me the amazing opportunity to delve deeper into the realm of ancient Egyptian perfumery and to recreate modern adaptations of these lost fragrant treasures in new Egyptian oil perfume formats and some as traditional perfumes. For the July release I have four new scents: 1,000 Lilies (aka Susinon), Antiu (aka Metopion), Keni (aka the Mendesian / the Egyptian) and Megaleion, but by September there will be two more distinct Egyptian perfumes to round out the collection. (I've also released special edition perfume versions of our popular Arome Egypte and Cardamom & Khyphi scents for this collection). The Secrets of Egypt are only available at Denver Art Museum and now here at our website. The "Mummy" presentation bottles with Egyptian perfume oil (above) are truly works of art that I hope you will treasure.
